Lots of tweets about the BTWBall. It will travel worldwide. Including INDONESIA ( I see you monsters!), all over Latin America, and India! JUST BE PREPARED LITTLE MONSTER!!!
Who is your Queen of Pop? We would find it hard to pick just one, there is Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Britney Spears… so many amazing chicks to choose from. However, music buffs at Rolling Stone magazine have managed to pick just one and have proclaimed Lady Gaga the all mighty Queen of Pop.
But before you think that Gaga is just Rolling Stone's pet favourite, be assured the conclusion was based on lots of thorough research and calculations. The mag ranked 16 female artists who released solo albums between 2009 and 2011 by several different categories. These included album sales, Billboard Hot 100 positions, radio airplay figures, YouTube videos, social media presence, revenue from live shows, award wins and reviews from critics. Phew, must have taken ages!
Taylor Swift came second, but it was Gaga who reigned supreme. Rihanna came third, Britney rolled in at four and Beyonce lagged behind in fifth place.
"No matter how we cut the numbers, GaGa was bound to crush the competition," the magazine said. Our goal here was to crown the current tiara-wearer. The hard-working, culture-dominating GaGa more than earned the title.”
So that’s that: Gaga is officially a demi God and no one can touch her, however, after Britney’s hugely anticipated Femme Fetale tour and amazing new songs, could she be the one to rival Gaga in next year’s review?
What do you think? Is Gaga your Queen of Pop?

Pop star Lady Gaga has scored her first No. 1 album in the United States after a 99-cent promotion by Amazon.com sent the much-hyped release past the rare million-copy mark in its debut week. According to sales data published on Tuesday by Billboard magazine, "Born This Way" sold 1.11 million copies during the week ended May 29. It marks the biggest first-week sales total since rapper 50 Cent's "The Massacre" debuted to 1.14 million copies in March 2005. The last album to break the million mark was country starlet Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," which started with 1.01 million copies last November.
In all, just 17 albums have sold more than one million copies in their first week since tracking firm Nielsen SoundScan began collecting point-of-sales data in 1991. Boy band 'N Sync holds the first-week record with 2.4 million copies for its 2000 album "No Strings Attached." Billboard estimated that Amazon downloads accounted for upward of 440,000 downloads of "Born This Way." Heavy demand crashed Amazon's servers when the online retailer launched its one-day-only promotion last Monday. The firm gave fans another chance to get the album for 99 cents on Thursday. Billboard said music industry observers had been expecting the album to sell between 650,000 and 700,000 copies before the Amazon promotion kicked in.
Amazon undertook the money-losing promotion to steal business from Apple Inc's iTunes, which dominates the market for digital music downloads. Overall digital downloads for "Born This Way" totaled a record-breaking 662,000 copies, Billboard said. The old record of 288,000 downloads was held by Coldplay's 2008 album "Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends." "Born This Way" marks Lady Gaga's second full-length album for Interscope Records, a unit of Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group. The 25-year-old New Yorker's 2008 debut "The Fame" peaked at No. 2 and has sold 4.2 million copies to date in the United States.
The singer, famed for her outrageous costumes and lavish stage shows, has been ubiquitous on the promotional trail in recent weeks. Among her stops were the Cannes Film Festival in France, the U.S. variety show "Saturday Night Live," and a London newspaper where she served as guest editor.
But is "Born This Way" any good? Critics said it lacked subtlety, but were divided on whether this was a good thing. Rolling Stone described the album as "disarmingly great" while the Los Angeles Times said it draws from "the worst tendencies of the last decade of dance music." (new.music.yahoo.com)
Adele "Rolling In The Deep" stays at Top Billboard this week for the second week in a row. It's old about 353K copies this week, the biggest one-week total for any song since Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" sold 509K copies in its second week in February. By contrast, "Rolling In The Deep" is in its 19th week. It's only the fifth song in digital history to sell 350K or more copies this deep into its chart run.
Lady Gaga's "The Edge Of Glory" debuts at #3, giving Gaga three songs in the top 30 on the eve of the release of her second full-length album, Born This Way. Her former #1 smash "Born This Way" dips from #18 to #19. "Judas," the follow-up, drops from #19 to #27. (news.music.yahoo)
